This Revised Edition is 100 pages longer than the first; it updates entries to include titles published from 1953 to 1969 and also has a new introduction. It is an excellent reference work covering all eras of children's literature including notable foreign books. There is a helpful index and bibliography. Written by Cornelia Meigs, Anne Thaxter Eaton, Elizabeth Nesbitt, and Ruth Viguers.
