New York: Frederick Stokes, (1921). 7.5'' x 5''. Original blue cloth, pictorial paste-on. Fore-edge and bottom edge uncut. Illustrated by Maria Kirk with color frontispiece (repeated on front board). New York edition, simultaneous with the Canadian edition. , 370 pages. Inscribed by Montgomery on the recto of the frontispiece: "Yours sincerely L.M. Montgomery Nov. 20 1921." Only some trifling wear, barely visible.
