First edition of this uncommon Père Castor "frieze for coloring," a continuous folded sheet with two long scenes (one each side) for the owner to color in.

When opened, this sheet measures nearly 3 feet long. Inside is a striking scene of people working in the field. Text and directions for coloring are on one panel and there are 2 extra panels to color on the verso of the opened sheet.
(Paris): Ernest Flammarion, 1944. 9.5'' x 8.25''. Single sheet with three folds producing two sides with four panels, one printed in green, the other in brown. Text in French. Only very light edgewear; unused.
