The book features 20 color plates depicting 20 animals, as well as 70 in-text pictures in thick dark green ink, and one full page in green and yellow. The hand-lettered text adds to overall style, composed of brief informational paragraphs about each animal, written by Hellé. This was reissued in 1925 as NOAH'S ARK in a greatly reduced format and without the mounted plates (instead printed on page). It is extremely rare to find a complete copy of this book.
