Beginning with a short history of paper airplanes, citing the earliest known mentions in 1909-1911. The book instructs the reader in the art of producing paper airplanes, contrasting the 1911 model with the 1973 model. The first book of the Paper Airplane Press, later based in Michigan; Koelewyn recalls founding the press "as an outgrowth of a job as a tour guide in the Rosenbach Foundation & Museum. The Rare Book Library there sparked an interest in book collecting and small presses." OCLC locates 3 institutions with holdings.
