First impression of the James Bond thriller set in Japan, often cited as one of the best in the series.
About fine in very good jacket.
YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE
"Fleming is constitutionally unable to write a dull sentence." – E.L. Doctorow, on editing YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE
YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE is considered the final book in the so-called "Blofeld Trilogy," named after Bond's now-classic nemesis. It is most memorable for its obituary of James Bond, which included personal details of Bond's history not found elsewhere. This novel went through a round of revision with a new editor who would later himself become a famous author: E.L. Doctorow.
