Magnificent fourth volume of prints and drawings by Durer, Van Dyck, Gainsborough, Jacob Maris, Meryon, Rembrandt, and Whistler, acquired by Henry Clay Frick before 1931 and reproduced "in all but a few instances" at their original size. The full catalogue of the Frick collection was begun in 1929; after a long hiatus in the 1930s and '40s, printing resumed under the direction of Bruce Rogers and was completed in 1956 with the twelfth and final volume.
