Founded in 1914, THE LITTLE REVIEW swiftly gained attention for its experimental approach to art, literature, and politics alike. Writers in this issue include Hecht, Lowell, Harold Bauer, Daphne Carr, Arthur Davison Ficke, Alexander S. Kaun, and others, as well as excerpted letters from Emma Goldman, writing from Queen's County Jail, Long Island City, in April 1916.
