Founded in 1914, THE LITTLE REVIEW soon gained a reputation for its experimental approach to art, literature, and politics alike. This issue, temporarily published from San Francisco with a note on the Review's planned return to Chicago and thence to New York, features spirited critical essays on the Imagist poets and a full-page back cover advertisement for a lecture series by Emma Goldman, "The Noted Anarchist." Contributors include Amy Lowell, Sherwood Anderson, Richard Hung, Harriet Dean, Skipworth Cannell, Edgar Lee Masters, Padraic Colum, Mitchell Dawson, and Mary Aldis.

First edition. San Francisco: Margaret C. Anderson, June-July, 1916. 9.75'' x 6.5''. Original printed wrappers with paper label mounted to front cover. 45, [3] pages. Chipping and creasing to lower right corner (cover and pages). Small tears to spine ends and upper edge. Light foxing throughout.

All domestic orders ship gratis. For orders under $250, free USPS media mail shipping is included; orders $250 and over ship USPS Priority. International orders over $500 also ship gratis. Expedited, overnight, as well as other carriers (UPS, Fed-Ex, etc.), may carry additional costs beyond quoted rates. All orders receive tracking information and a direct contact in case of any questions.
