The program gives an overview of the cotillion and the organization more generally, including large-scale portraits of all the debutantes as well as their escorts, a schedule of the event, buffet menu and snapshots of the debutantes at rehearsal and other social functions, as well as information on the philanthropic activities of The Links. A large section of the program consists of well-wishes from contributors and supporters of The Links, giving a sense of the business community in the Bay Area at that time. An interesting look at middle class African American culture immediately following the civil rights era.
