Contains notes about the conference as well as biographies of featured speakers, including Maynard Jackson, later elected as the first Black mayor of Atlanta, and the president of the National Education Association, Elizabeth Duncan Koontz. An informative look at this conference, the goal of which was to "[bring] about a 'New America' by 1976... an 'America in which all citizens can participate in national development and enjoy the fruits of that development."

Overall very good plus to near fine, with a few mild touches of toning and soil. Includes: a stapled "Bulletin" for the conference's first day (5 leaves); a press release for the conference (2 leaves, stapled); a fact sheet about the NUL (3 leaves) and thirteen loose sheets containing biographies of the speakers at the committee and NUL's leadership.
