In French. Contains name and address lists of what may be visitors as well as local lodge members; a number are from American cities. The bulk of the text consists of detailed minutes of the lodge meetings. Written in a variety of cursive secretarial hands, generally neat and thoroughly legible. Includes records of correspondence sent and received, receipts for fees due and paid, vote tallies, etc.
First Edition. [Dijon]: n.p., [1881-1883]. Hardcover. Tall 4to. Decorative stamped leather boards, handwritten paper label affixed to front. Leather chipped at corners and edges, with moderate loss. Blank journal with text handwritten in pen. [i-xv] + 1-229pp. Heavy soil to preliminary leaves; mild soil and toning throughout. Very good minus.
