THE EMPTY HOUSE
"How did you know; how did you every understand?' [...] "My husband was like that," Gypsy answered. 'Shouldn't we discuss the weather?"
Arcadia romances were a US-based series in hardcover for popular audiences established before Canada-based Harlequin took over majority of the market via paperbacks. Belying the narrative of popular romance as filtered through the overbearing image of Harlequin, this book features a heroine who is not a virgin, and a hero bringing up a little boy on his own. OCLC records only four institutional holdings.
