Aquatone frontispiece and illustrations. 32 pages, followed by facsimiles of Hardy's letters. Inscribed by Newton on front free endpaper: "John Hampton Barnes Jr. with the compliments of A. Edward Newton 'A souvenir of his visit to the "Oak Knoll" Library January 20, 19[35]." A few minor chips and tears to glassine jacket. Box sunned and heavily chipped along spine, with tears to corners and edges. Book beautiful.
