"There is no era more appealing to youth than that of Charlemagne."
The exploits of the first Holy Roman Emperor are rendered here with N. C. Wyeth's poetic brush, which lends itself particularly to epic tales of the early middle ages. This is a notably nice copy, which retains its scarcely found original dust jacket.
