Wally had quite the collection of toy soldiers – lancers, dragoon guards, Ghurkas, grenadiers, and more make appearances in his dream. Published as WWI tore through Europe, THE TOY SOLDIERS foregoes confronting the horrors of trench warfare in favor of biplane adventures and shooting Germans out of their zeppelins.
