First printing of Block's first hardcover publication, a revenge thriller he wrote because he couldn't shake the plot idea suggested by another writer.
Near fine in like jacket.
"He told me to go ahead. So I did."
According to Block's account on his official website, the premise of DEADLY HONEYMOON wasn't an original idea. His good friend Don Westlake came up with it, but never started the story. Finally, Block asked him: "Remember Deadly Honeymoon? Did you ever do anything with that idea?' He hadn't. 'Well, do you think you're going to?' He allowed that it seemed unlikely. 'Here's the thing,' I said. 'I can't get it out of my head. Would you mind if I took a crack at it?" The book is, naturally, dedicated to Westlake.
