As put memorably by Marc Mewshaw in THE ATLANTIC, "Satin Island is the act of an artistic provocateur with an existential bone to pick" (18 Feb 2015). A pristine and exquisite copy of the deluxe edition.
First printing. London: London Review Bookshop / Jonathan Cape, 2015. 8'' x 5.25''. Original black Tohsho Japanese silk boards, spine stamped in silver, with three photographs mounted to front cover. In matching silk slipcase, lined in green suede. Portfolio attached to inside back cover holds small portfolio of the author's working material and alternative cover designs (as issued). Signed by McMcarthy on limitation page, numbered 11. One small scuff mark to slipcase corner, else near fine overall.
