Sex & Smut
Early sleaze, or, as the publisher put it, a "Highly Readable Novel."
Very good in a very good jacket.
Price: $55.00
From the jacket copy: "From Tony the lesbian, she learned of the strange, exotic, frightening fascination of abnormal relations. From Bruno the pimp, she learned of the utter depths of degradation. From Clare, she learned of the terror, the hopeless despair of dope." Includes a lengthy (non-erotic) episode detailing the historical Ohio State Penitentiary fire of 1930, apparently heavily inspired by Chester Himes' "To What Red Hell?"
Credited to both Les Scott and Robert Tracy on the front cover; Scott's name alone appears on the title page. Tracy was the pseudonym of Alvin Schwartz, best remembered as a Golden Age comic book writer and creator of Bizarro Superman.
