Founded in Vienna in 1793 as a publishing house, A. Pichlers Witwe & Sohn had become a multimedia outfit by the early 20th century, producing various educational toys in addition to books. Included in this illustrated trade catalogue – published just in time for Christmas – are kits for making paper flowers, building sets, microscopes, board games, and more. An extremely charming piece of toy history.
