Six full-page illustrations and three smaller in-text illustrations. 24 pages, with ads to wrappers. Contemporary gift inscription to title page: "Presented to Charlie by / his Aunt Anna. 1858." Contemporary owner's name in a child's hand to inner rear wrapper. Wrapper a bit toned, with a few small spots of soil; beginning to split at spine. Leaves with a couple small spots of soil. Sound and clean overall.
