A SPECIMEN OF DIVINE TRUTHS was first published in Dutch in 1706, with the first in English appearing in 1765. The title was published in many places across the US; the present copy is quite a scarce edition, with no holdings located in OCLC.
Philadelphia: George W. Mentz & Son, 1833. 12mo. 5.5'' x 3.25''. Original coarse cloth-backed pictorial boards. 72 pages, collated complete. Contemporary pencil inscription "Mary White Her Book / Bought in the year of our lord / one thousand eight hundred," repeated twice. Binding with edgewear, soil and staining; a bit of scuffing to front board. Leaves with light foxing, some soil. A solid copy.
