"We like to hop. / We like to hop / on top of Pop. / STOP / You must not / hop on Pop."
With HOP ON POP, even the littlest readers can enjoy the delightful rhymes of Dr. Seuss. Accompanied by Seuss's distinctive and humorous characters, this simple introduction to phonics was quite innovative in the 1960s — Ruth Strang, a professor at the University of Arizona College of Education, praises the title as "new in concept and content" on the rear of its dust jacket. A charming and timeless reading tool.
