Published shortly after Moholy-Nagy was forced to flee Germany after the rise of the Nazi's, THE STREET MARKETS OF LONDON pairs the photographer's generally candid images (taken with his Leica) with journalist Benedetta's somewhat condescending text. Nevertheless, MARKETS remains an under-appreciated photobook.

First edition. London: John Miles Ltd, 1936. 8.5'' x 6.25''. Original beige linen boards. In (partial) original unclipped (7s. 6d.) jacket. xii, 204 pages. Jacket missing lower quarter to third of front panel, spine, and most of rear panel. Heavily worn overall.
