Most widely known for his collaborations with Hunter S. Thompson, Ralph Steadman's artistic style is immediately recognizable. This attractive portfolio, assembled in 2000, presents a work published in the year of his "big break" (RalphSteadman.com) – 1970 was the year of his infamous Kentucky Derby coverage, and his first meeting with Thompson. The subject of THE DOGS BODIES is one that Steadman has returned to throughout his career, including his frenetic label designs for Flying Dog beer.
