Ted Berrigan's connections with the poets and artists on both coasts seeded and saturated his poetry and peregrinations, from Chicago to New York to Bolinas. Here, in a copy formerly owned by a "star student" of his, Berrigan pays tribute to Keith Abbott, friend, collaborator (they would both go on to teach at the Jack Kerouac School for Disembodied Poetics), and per Ted, the collection's "only deserving male reader."
