From Auto Bear Andy to Zoo Bear, JOLLY BEARS ABC depicts Teddy bears from all walks of life, including Farmer Bear Fred and Old bear "worth a million." Most notable is the inclusion of Rough Rider Teddy, clearly modeled on sitting president Theodore Roosevelt. The Teddy bear that we know and love had only been on the market a few years at the time of this publication, and was not yet as ubiquitous as it is today. A charming and scarce alphabet.

Wrapper with careful repairs to spine and corners, mild toning; rear wrapper with a bit of soil. Leaves with scattered soil, 2 leaves with tiny repaired closed tears. Colors vibrant.
