Original price-clipped color pictorial dust jacket with no mention of ABRAHAM LINCOLN winning the Caldecott. Illustrated in color to one side of panorama and blue to the other. One double-sided accordion-fold sheet, creating 7 "leaves." Ink gift inscription to top of title page: "John P. Littig from Mother Sept. 1940." Some wear and slight loss to edges of dust jacket; several unobtrusive repairs. Light scuffing to edges of binding, occasional shallow creasing to leaves; two closed holes to fifth leaf. Otherwise clean and sound.
