Davis did just two small signings for this book in the South before tragically dying in a plane crash on the way to her next appearance, only a couple of weeks after the book's publication. A novel based on the author's own experiences performing with a small circus, it was very well received and went on to be a bestseller. Only the second signed copy of this we've seen since the book was published.
New York: William Morrow, 2003. 9'' x 6''. Original paper boards. In original unclipped ($24.95) pictorial dust jacket. 259, [3] pages. Signed by Davis on title oage. Minor rubbing to jacket.
